Biray Ozdol is a San Francisco–based designer and maker interested in the relationship between people, materials, and the natural world. Growing up in Istanbul and spending summers along the Aegean coast of Turkey fostered a deep connection to landscapes, found materials, and the simple act of paying attention to nature. Her work brings together industrial design, craft, and material exploration to create objects that carry stories of place, memory, and process. Through working with wood, clay, metal, natural pigments, and foraged materials, she explores how everyday objects can help us feel more connected to the nature.
